People enjoy equal rights all over the world as reflected in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and secured by International Law. The right of self-determinations provides the opportunity to the oppressed nations to determine the way of their secession and announce their freedom from any State on the basis of their national goals. There are several examples of such movements in Asia, Europe that continue their struggle and most of the world considers such demands as legitimate to some level.
