The Patchwork Girl of Oz is a children's novel written by L. Frank Baum. It is the seventh book in the Oz series and was first published in 1913. The story follows a young boy named Ojo, who is on a quest to find a cure for his uncle's petrification. Along with his new friend, the patchwork girl named Scraps, and other companions, they journey to the Emerald City to seek help from the Wizard of Oz. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles and challenges, including a wicked witch and a powerful magician. The book is filled with whimsical characters and magical adventures, and it explores themes of friendship, loyalty, and the power of determination. The Patchwork Girl of Oz is a timeless classic that continues to captivate readers of all ages. The Magician uttered such a wild cry that Ojo jumped away and the Patchwork Girl sprang after him and clasped her stuffed arms around him in terror. The Glass Cat snarled and hid under the table, and so it was that when the powerful Liquid of Petrifaction was spilled it fell only upon the wife of the Magician and the uncle of Ojo. With these two the charm worked promptly. They stood motionless and stiff as marble statues. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
