Teach them more Swedish this Easter with a fun bilingual picture book for the whole family.
It's Easter eve, and all the animals in the forest are very curious about what Hoppe the hare is up to. He cycles through the woods and borrows a lot of unusual things from his friends. A barrel full of fishing rods, an apron and a bunch of feathers. What on earth does he need it all for? The animals find out when the Easter party finally starts...
The Easter party is a bilingual Easter story for 3-6-year-olds who're learning Swedish, English, or both languages at the same time. At the end of the book, you'll learn more about Easter eggs, Easter witches, Easter twigs and other typically Swedish Easter traditions.
This is the bilingual edition of The Easter Party, and the whole book can be enjoyed in Swedish or English - perfect for bilingual families.
Linda Liebrand, a Swedish expat and mum, living in the UK, wrote this book as a way to introduce her native language to her toddler. If you're looking to increase your bilingual child's Swedish and English vocabulary, and want to spark conversations about Swedish culture and traditions, then you'll love this bilingual children's book.
