What happens when perfectly reasonable ideas meet completely unreasonable logic? Welcome to PAPILA, a world where everyday life, bureaucracy, money, work, technology and human relationships are pushed just one step too far - and suddenly everything makes perfect sense... in the worst possible way. PAPILA - Volume 3: Brilliant Ideas That Turn Out Bad is a collection of visual humor and comic strips built around the absurdities of everyday life.
Created and illustrated by Ubaldo, PAPILA turns ordinary situations into unexpected comic disasters through wordplay, misunderstanding, exaggerated logic and wonderfully innocent characters.
Felix, Gloria, Julius, Ben and the rest of the PAPILA universe face taxes, bureaucracy, shopping, work, unemployment, technology, relationships, advertising and all the tiny complications that make modern life unnecessarily difficult.
The formula looks simple: a normal situation + flawless logic + one terrible conclusion. Quick to read, easy to enjoy and full of details worth discovering again, this volume combines classic cartoon humor with social satire and a distinctive visual style.
Because in PAPILA, nobody is completely crazy. The problem is that everyone is far too logical.
