Out of Control is about a young woman named Yolanda Applez Smith, who grew up to what seemed a perfect life, until the day her father was murdered at their front door. He was coming in from a long day of hustling and selling drugs. When he was getting ready to enter the house he was shot down by two goons of another rival drug gang. Loosing her father turn life upside down for both her mother and her. Applez mother started to abuse alcohol to cope with the pain, and started taking her frustrations out on her. After a big argument, she move out of her mother's house and in with her best friend, who was more like a big brother to her. The day after she moves out her mom dies in a car accident from drunk driving and hitting another vehicle. During all of her troubles, Applez used her free time to hang out with her friends to get her mind off of what was going on in her life. While out, she met this guy who at first has her on cloud 9, but eventually turns her world upside down.
