Horror poetry? What's that? Well, try to imagine that Stephen King wrote poetry, instead of novels and short stories. It's like that, only more twisted and messed up in the head.

The dark themes here are those of destruction, famine, plague, war, the end of the world, serial killers, neighbor pitted against neighbor, natural disasters, monsters, demons and the doom promised to us by the ever-worsening climate emergency.

If you're unable to stomach heavy, emotional movies, like The Road, Hotel Rwanda, The Pianist, Million Dollar Baby, Schindler's List, Requiem For A Dream, A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Apocalypse Now, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Taxi Driver, Finch or Don't Look Up, you're going to absolutely hate this book. It contains all manner of worst-case scenarios and dead end problems that offer no solutions. However, if you enjoy gallows humor and you prefer to look reality straight in the eye, then you're in the right place. Enjoy the darkness. There's more than enough of it to go around.
