Our Grieving Eden, my first book of poetry, explores several themes of life, such as marital love, aging, poverty, political concerns and Christianity to wade into what matters most: to feel and think deeply in a complex world which offers too little certainty. I hope that readers will find my work to be both meaty and yet not too burdensome. Poetry is supposed to tickle the ear before stroking the rest of us.
