After 46 safari/shikari adventures on six continents, I am fortunate to have collected 163 animals and 142 species, including 71 listed in the Safari Club (SCI) International record books. I have received the SCI's Pinnacles of Achievement Award--Fourth Pinnacle. And in February of 2012, I received the SCI Crowning Achievement Award. The ability to collect a trophy animal is a great achievement because it requires great stamina, skill, understanding of animal behavior, good weather, luck, and the financial resources.
