Her sister's pending visit is all Gwen has thought about for weeks. For her, it feels like forever ago since her most trusted confidante, Journey has been home. Together again in the house of their youth, Gwen and Journey fill their lives with humor, and joyous reminisces with friends and family. The warmth from the love drapes Journey like a well-woven quilt. Despite the cheerful reunions, the sisters inevitably discover that time has not silenced the haunting memories, yielding hurts, lies and betrayal that stir between those walls. Like her sisters, Journey wants to believe that coming home to live will fill the constant emptiness inside her. She knows that there is no perfect place but wants to be sure that she no longer fears the ghosts of her past. It isn't long before she gets the opportunity to test her faith and her strength when a confession leads to disastrous consequences. The deceit entangles everyone in a muddle of love, hate, secrets and sibling rivalries. All involved must find forgiveness before the deceit spreads, ripping apart the fabric from husbands to wives, sister to sister, and friend to friend.
