Olivia Sinclair James is a young lady living in Grand Prairie, Texas, with her dad. Even though she's dealing with depression, Olivia tries to hold on to hope and lean into her faith that everything will eventually work out for the best. Olivia has a part-time job for a delivery service, where she works on the twilight shift. She's also going to college part-time.
Everything changes one day when Olivia forgets something at the house. When she goes back home, she discovers that people have been following her. They break in, and she tries to get away from them, but she ends up being kidnapped anyway. Her kidnappers take her to the airport, where they hope to fly her to Amsterdam. Luckily for Olivia, two older women come to her aid. While in hiding from her kidnappers, Olivia tries to remain hopeful and continues to pray. Olivia's kidnappers catch up to her and ship her to Amsterdam, and from there, she's moved around from one location in Europe to another. Throughout her journey, she holds onto her faith and hope, praying for the day when this terrible nightmare will be over. If she is rescued, will Olivia want to go back to the way things were in Texas, where she dealt with PTSD and depression, or will she stay where she is and start over?
