A small Louisiana town is a bit like Jambalaya, which beyond a few basic ingredients is a mixture of whatever is on hand to throw into the pot. Behind the proper facades lie all the secret aspirations, loves, racial and gender attractions that few dare share with each other. Of Southern Sensibilities takes you behind the facades the characters put on to be accepted and respected as proper folks. It weaves a tale, sometimes tragic, sometimes comical, as the truth unfolds. It's a diverse cast of characters. What they have in common is the burning desire to be loved as they are, not for the roles they feel they must play. The jailers are the prisoners; the prisoners are the jailers as day-to-day life unfolds in a small Louisiana town. Of Southern Sensibilities, a tale of those trapped within the walls of respectability
