As the two spend much time learning about each other, Shei discovers the shocking secret that her deceased mother's two million dollar life insurance policy is at the heart of this scheme. She comes to the conclusion that Casper is not the monster he was made out to be, and is actually there to protect her. The true villain seems to be everyone else involved. Individuals she would have never once suspected.
