Sing, count, and creep through the rainforest in a rhyming read-aloud kids will ask for again and again! Over in the Jungle brings nature's wonders to life with rhythm, movement, and dazzling 3D art.
This playful twist on the classic Over in the Meadow introduces ten rainforest animal families--each with their own sound and action. Young readers join in with counting, mimic animal motions, and explore vibrant jungle scenes that leap off the page.
With lyrical verse perfect for story time and polymer clay illustrations sculpted by artist Jeanette Canyon, every spread invites children into a lush, textured world that inspires curiosity and joy. Whether used at home, in classrooms, or during Earth Day activities, this read-aloud favorite builds early counting and literacy skills while sparking love for animals and their habitats.
Why families and educators love it:
- Captivating 3D artwork: Real clay illustrations create a tactile visual feast
- Interactive read-aloud: Rhythmic verse encourages movement, repetition, and learning
- STEM-friendly content: Introduces real rainforest creatures and counting from 1 to 10
- Bonus learning pages: Includes animal facts and a seek-and-find activity
Perfect for ages 3-8, this rainforest picture book is a joyful blend of art, science, and storytelling.
