Outline Of A System Of Legislation, For Securing Protection To The Aboriginal Inhabitants Of All Countries Colonized By Great Britain is a book written by Standish Motte in 1840. The book provides a comprehensive outline of a legislative system that could be implemented to ensure the protection of the indigenous people living in countries colonized by Great Britain. Motte's book is a response to the mistreatment and exploitation of indigenous populations by British colonizers. He argues that it is the responsibility of the British government to protect the rights and interests of the native inhabitants of the countries they colonize. The book provides a detailed plan for a legislative system that would ensure the protection of the aboriginal people. This includes provisions for the establishment of a court system to deal with disputes between indigenous people and colonizers, the protection of indigenous land rights, and the establishment of educational institutions to provide the native population with the necessary skills to participate in the modern economy. Motte's book is an important historical document that sheds light on the attitudes and beliefs of British colonizers towards the indigenous populations they encountered. It also provides insight into the early efforts to establish a legal framework for the protection of indigenous rights, which would later become a major focus of international human rights law. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
