Out of Time's Abyss is a science fiction novel written by Edgar Rice Burroughs. It is the third book in the Caspak trilogy, following The Land That Time Forgot and The People That Time Forgot. The story follows Bradley, a World War I fighter pilot who finds himself stranded on the mysterious island of Caspak, where prehistoric creatures and savage tribes exist. In this final installment of the trilogy, Bradley and his companions must navigate through the treacherous terrain and fight off dangerous creatures as they try to find a way off the island. Along the way, they encounter a group of humans who have been living on the island for generations and have developed their own unique society. As they continue their journey, they discover that time on the island moves differently than in the outside world, and they may never be able to return home. The novel explores themes of evolution, survival, and the consequences of playing with time. Out of Time's Abyss is a thrilling adventure that combines science fiction and fantasy elements, and is a must-read for fans of Burroughs and classic adventure literature. This is the tale of Bradley after he left Fort Dinosaur upon the west coast of the great lake that is in the center of the island. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
