The Old Testament Apocrypha is a book written by Charles F. Horne. It is a collection of ancient writings that were not included in the Hebrew Bible but were accepted by some Christian churches as part of the Old Testament canon. The book includes fourteen texts, including the books of Tobit, Judith, Baruch, and the Wisdom of Solomon. These texts were written between the third century BCE and the first century CE and provide insight into Jewish life and thought during this period. The Old Testament Apocrypha also includes introductions to each text, providing historical and literary context for readers. This book is a valuable resource for scholars of religion and history, as well as for anyone interested in exploring the diversity of ancient Jewish literature.THIS 234 PAGE ARTICLE WAS EXTRACTED FROM THE BOOK: Sacred Books and Early Literature of the East: The Great Rejected Books of the Biblical Apocrypha, by Charles F.
