Three young mountain lion cubs are orphaned when their mother is killed by a hit and run driver. Without her, the cubs will not survive in the wild.
Thankfully, the Portola Valley community comes to the rescue. Orphaned is the story of a neighborhood determined to protect the wildlife that makes their town so special.
After finding the cubs, residents carefully observed them until rangers and biologists could arrive to capture them and take them to the veterinary hospital at the Oakland Zoo.
