Studying something new in the field of legal science is not an easy endeavour, especially when the researcher is immersed in this reality. Over the years, the study of constitutional law has evolved a great deal and today, thanks to these advances, we are experiencing a phenomenon of constitutionalisation of the other branches of law. This conclusion allows us to analyse the manifestation of the concept of Original Peoples within the theory of New Latin American Constitutionalism. Of course, the topic chosen is a broad one, and with a view to the quality of academic production, we have made a cut in this long and important journey. Specifically, we will focus on the case study of Venezuela, a country that is considered by scholars to be a vivid example of the theory of New Latin American Constitutionalism.
