In a carefully-researched guide designed to be a companion to the Tarot of the Noutjeru deck, Douglas Blake leans on his intensive past studies and original artwork to provide a fascinating examination of the concept and format of this seventy-eight card deck. Blake's comprehensive presentation highlights the history of Tarot Triumphi, the details of the cards that include high-resolution images, the practical uses of the Tarot that touch on Sortilege, Cartomancy, and Meditation, and recommendations for use in spreads that offer examples and charts. Included is a brief appendix with charts illustrating astrological, elemental, and Qabalistic attributions as well as Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) Decanates followed by a bibliography and glossary. An Oracle of Kemet: Tarot of the Noutjeru is an in-depth guide and companion book to a unique Tarot deck with an intriguing history and multi-faceted appeal to those interested in its aesthetics as well as its esoteric and practical value.
