In 1970, Harry Nilsson put out a kids album called the Point. It was filled with songs and narration. It is about a village wherever one has a point on their head except for one friendly kid named Oblio. His head is round and he is banished because he has no point.
In 1972, It became a TV movie directed by the guy who made the Tootsie Roll Pop commercial where the Wise Owl figures out how many licks will get you to the center of the Tootsie Roll Pop.

He goes into the history of the film and goes off on long tangents about other things the makers of this film created.
