On The Treatment Of Psoriasis By An Ointment Of Chrysophanic Acid is a book written by Alexander John Balmanno Squire in 1878. The book focuses on the treatment of psoriasis, a chronic skin condition that causes red, scaly patches on the skin. Squire proposes the use of an ointment containing chrysophanic acid, a natural compound found in certain plants, as a potential treatment for psoriasis. The book details the author's experiments and clinical trials with the ointment, including its effectiveness, side effects, and application methods. Squire also discusses the history of psoriasis treatment and the limitations of other available treatments at the time. This book is a valuable resource for those interested in the history of dermatology and the development of psoriasis treatments. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
