An American adaptation of Richard Sheridan's The Rivals. Hischak swaps the setting from England to the Atlantic City Boardwalk where the sneaky Louise earns money from delivering letters that will complicate other peoples personal relationships.

Our protagonist Jack who often goes by the name of Jonathan Pippin is in love with Lily. Lily on the other hand is in love with Jonathan Pippin not knowing that Pippin and Jack are one in the same! When Jack's father tells Jack that he is to marry Lily Jack couldn't be happier and Lily couldn't be more unhappy. As the plot thickens secrets are revealed more love lives are tangled and chaos ensues all on the Atlantic City Boardwalk!
