This volume, containing Mill's On Liberty, Utilitarianism, Considerations of Representative Government, and The Subjection of Women, draws together the basic ideas of liberalism that, although radical in their time, have gained recognition as comprehensive and relevant fundamentals of government, economics, and logic.
