Ode of a Medicine Man

Part chant, part philosophy, part oral tradition, Ode of a Medicine Man stands in conversation with works such as The Tao Te Ching, The Prophet, and The Song of Hiawatha, while speaking in a voice entirely its own. Across hundreds of brief teachings, an unnamed Medicine Man wanders through forests, rivers, mountains, and seasons, offering not doctrine but remembrance-of humanity's kinship with Nature, with one another, and with the living mystery from which all things arise.
