This is a reprint of Arthur Bedford's Obsevations [sic] On A Sermon Preach'd Before The Corporation Of Bristol, On Sunday The Sixteenth Day Of August, 1735, Being The Day Before The Assizes. Bedford's sermon offers insights into the social and moral concerns of 18th-century Bristol, providing a snapshot of the period's religious and judicial landscape. It provides valuable primary source material for understanding the intersection of religion, law, and civic life in early modern England. This volume preserves the historical context and content of the original sermon.
