This volume contains astronomical observations made with the nine-inch transit circle at the United States Naval Observatory between 1903 and 1908. Compiled under the direction of William Snyder Eichelberger, the work represents a significant contribution to positional astronomy. It presents meticulously recorded observations and calculations vital for nautical navigation and timekeeping. Providing a glimpse into early 20th-century astronomical practices, this book is a valuable resource for historians of science, astronomers, and anyone interested in the precise measurement of celestial positions.
