O King! Live Forever is a verse-by-verse study of the book of Daniel chapters 1-6. Daniel is one of the hardest books of the Bible to understand. Without knowing the culture, customs, different kingdoms and kings of the time it is virtually impossible to figure out. Daniel was written during the time of the Babylonian captivity. Daniel and his friends were servants (slaves) of the king who were slated for execution. However, Yahweh intervened with His providence and sovereignty and revealed to the world at that time what His divine plan was to restore His people to freedom and justification. By standing strong and following their Creator's commands, Daniel and his friends obtained a status and position envious to any people.
