Who was that mysterious figure that fateful night? Why did she visit me? Where can I find her again?

Notes for Ellie is a collection of poems written over the course of a year by author Josh K. Davern. Starting with a surreal encounter with a familiar stranger, Notes for Ellie catalogues poems highlighting the tragedies and joys of both nature and one's own self. From short contemplations to greater narratives in an array of styles, this collection encapsulates the growths, insecurities and triumphs that can be found throughout one's daily thoughts and walks. Both nature and one's mind can be a cruel place to live, but through deep introspection and acceptance, both can truly be the most beautiful place to spend a lifetime.
