Life for Sam and his estranged mother has been difficult since the divorce six months ago. That is until they make a new friend in the form of a Golden Retriever puppy named Joy. As times passes, Joy becomes one of the family. Life seems to be returning to normal. But all that changes when the family goes on vacation and they find something is terribly, terribly wrong with their new dog. Not a Dog Person is a body horror novelette with bite in the vein of John Carpenter's The Thing. Full of suspense, action, surprises, colorful characters, and plenty of ghastly nuances, Not a Dog Person revels in the macabre and toys with genre conventions to create a unique and unsettling journey into graphic horror that you will never forget.
