The second part of the story of Wesley Calhan and Morgan Dylan. The story opens as we are reminded of the dream of Carter Calhan and his dreams of an empire. Six years back we are faced with a government and railroad backed contract for several bridges of lumber, allowing the trains a quicker route to California. It wasn't until gold was discovered in an abandoned cave in the mountains that seemed to open a series of unexplained accidents, leading to the army, as well as the Crow tribe, to get involved. The story still centers around Wes and the crew and the Dylan. The story has a series of plots as well as twists, but in the end, the one factor remained, not only the mountains can shine and with the right person, one could and would find happiness anywhere.
