Noah Reads to Grammy by Anazette Andrews is a heartwarming children's book that captures the daily life of a six-year-old boy named Noah. Noah wakes up each morning with excitement, look- ing forward to spending time with his family and engaging in his fa- vorite activities. As a first-grader, Noah is proud of his reading skills and loves to share his passion for books with his family, especially his Grammy.
Noah's day is filled with typical activities for a young boy: having breakfast with his mother, playing with his toys, and going to school. Despite the physical distance, Noah maintains a close bond with his Grammy through weekly video calls, a highlight of his day. These calls occur almost every evening, where Noah reads his fa- vorite books to her, and she listens with love and attention.
After school, Noah diligently completes his homework, enjoys dinner, and takes a bath. His most cherished moment comes right before bedtime, when he calls Grammy, who lives 3,000 miles away. During these calls, Noah excitedly shares details about his day and reads stories to her. Grammy always responds with warmth and encouragement, making Noah feel loved and appreci- ated.
The story concludes with Noah feeling content and joyful, grateful for the special relationship he shares with his family. As he settles into bed, he reflects on his happiness and the love surrounding him, ending his day with a prayer and a sense of fulfillment.
Noah Reads to Grammy is a touching tale that emphasizes the importance of family connections and the joy of sharing stories, no matter the distance.
