No Random Moves is a story of domestic and international conspiracies; sex for gain, fun, and love; and, in the end, punishment. It raises the question of whether a workplace can be a hostile environment if the players are consenting adults
When a prosecutor targets the Richardson foundation as a conduit for bribing officials in Washington to win contracts for the Richardson weapons companies, Nate's law school classmate calls him to New Haven to protect the foundation.
Nate and his associate, Margo, find themselves tangled in the intrigues of a sexually charged group. To avoid having their work compromised, Nate and Margo agree to share the details of their involvement with the individuals in the group. Margo's openness about her sexual encounters is matched by Nate's indiscrete description of his involvement with two of the women in the group and his revealing conversations about his marital troubles.
The stakes are high.
Ultimately, rough justice is served around the table. The lives of everyone involved are changed.
No Random Moves is a fast paced intrigue that explores the multi-layered motivations of Margo, a young lawyer driven by a need to succeed, and her mentor, Nate, as they navigate the traps set for them.
