Excitement, acceptance, gratitude, soul warming love, pain that heals, a sorrow that brings joy, conviction that breaks years of yokes that chain linked me to dead ends, the ability to unite with humility by surrendering my life's work to the one who created me, but I never worked for. All of the above is not even enough to explain what it felt like when I finally answered the door that God was knocking at for only he knows how long. This book of poems I wrote I do not take credit for, for I believe God's Holy Spirit inspired every word on every page. Each poem to me shows the growth progression of a babe in Christ to a maturing Saint. While some of the poems felt like the revelation of an internal dialogue between God and myself, others I myself many times had little understanding of until after writing it or reading it to another. Sometimes it'd be years later that I actually experience something I'd written in a poem, I'd be listening to it in my car and say to myself, Oh, wow I'm going through that right now. God's Holy Word (The Bible) is the only source here on earth anyone needs, and in no way do I try to emulate it. These poems are just a good pass time for a sojourning saint. I love how I can get conviction, encouragement and rehabilitation from reading or listening to these poems. I hope that you receive nothing but good in the reading of this book and be encouraged in the mighty power of the only living God! Latesha F. Williams
