मुंदरिजा बाला गुफ़्तगू से 'नवेद-ए-सबा' के बारे में जो मजमूई तअस्सुर उभरकर सामने आता है इस सिलसिले में हम कह सकते हैं कि शायर का ये पहला मजमूआ होने के बावुजूद फ़न्नी अस्क़ाम से पाक है। इस मजमू'आ में कही भी न ं ा तो इब्तिज़ाल का शाइबा है और ना ही मोहमल-गोई का स्याह साया। इसकी ज़बान साफ़ और शुस्ता है। अशआर तग़ज़्ज़ुल की चाशनी, असरी आगाही का मं ज़र नामा और तसव्वुफ़ की पाकीज़गी लिये हुए है। नवेद-एसबा महताब हैदर की शायरी का नक़्श-ए-अव्वल है और बहुत रौशन है। मैं उनसे मुस्तक़बिल में और भी उम्दा शायरी की तवक़्क़ु'आत रखने में अपने को हक़-बजानिब समझता हूँ।
