Nubes, or The Clouds, is a classic comedy by the ancient Greek playwright Aristophanes. This satirical work lampoons intellectual fads and philosophical trends of the time, particularly targeting Socrates and his school of thought. The play follows Strepsiades, an old man burdened by debt incurred by his son Pheidippides' extravagant lifestyle.
