Right. So apparently this is a story about dragons. Not that I was asked, mind you. Some overenthusiastic writer with too much imagination and not enough sense opened a portal full of the blasted things, and now the world's on fire.
There's a King who cries over taxes, a farmer called Melvin who couldn't slay a weed, and me, your narrator, forced to make sense of it all.
Spoiler alert: I can't.It's loud, ridiculous, and somehow my job to read it. If you came here for heroism or romance, you've opened the wrong bloody book.
But if you enjoy watching the world burn, metaphorically and literally, then fine. Pull up a chair.
