This is the eighth volume in a series of land tax records, which offer a wealth of valuable genealogical data presented in a convenient table format with entries listed alphabetically by surname within each section. This volume covers the year 1915. Numerous facsimile reprints enhance the text.
The column heading for 1915 Land Tax County include: Name of person in possession of the land and Place of Residence, Nature of the owner's estate whether held in Fee or for Life, Name of tract of land or near where it lies, Distance and bearings from the Courthouse, Number of Acres in each tract, Fair market value of the land per acre, Fair market value of the land not including buildings in $ (no cents), Fair market value of the buildings on the land in $ (no cents), Fair market value of the land and buildings thereon in $ (no cents), Tax @ .10, Explanation of alterations during the preceding year, and Total County and District Levies.
