Noor loves to draw. She especially likes to draw pictures of her family. Her grandpa is in the hospital and has to have a complicated surgery called a liver transplant. As Noor learns about the liver and how a liver is transplanted, she draws pictures to understand her grandpa's illness and the many steps of healing. She also enjoys drawing pictures as special gifts to lift her family's spirits and to say thank you to the people who helped her grandpa receive a new liver.
Noor Draws the Shapes of Healing introduces children to the world of doctors and hospitals in a unique and positive way through the eyes of a curious and creative girl. Children will learn that healing and recovery are possible through the power of medicine, love of family, and faith.
