The long-awaited moving sequel to the Amazon #1 bestseller, Noah Finn & the Art of Suicide.
There are two things Maria Shephard knows for sure at this moment:
There is no God.
She will die on Christmas Day.
Marshal Shephard, the man in the passenger seat, isn't moving or speaking. But he's looking directly at her. There are flashing lights in Maria's peripheral vision. A voice asks if she can move her legs.
She hates that she can't. She hates that she's still here.
Noah Finn checks his watch. It's almost time...
Praise for Noah Finn & the Art of Suicide:
E. Rachael Hardcastle discusses the choices that we make and the unintended consequences that can sometimes occur. But, what if we had a second chance, even after we died? What would we do differently? Would we more carefully make choices, knowing that our choices have consequences for others? E. Rachael Hardcastle expertly explores the choices that we make, the unintended consequences for others, and the hope of redemption! Paul Reeves, Impact Radio USA
Noah Finn and the Art of Suicide will challenge your views on mortality, religion, ethics and many more, set against a backdrop that without skilful authorship could have moved focus away from the story. To use as a background a world event that continues to shock us many years on and being able to maintain the reader's focus on the story, with its interesting characters rather than that world event per se, shows a maturity and writing ability that really impressed me. The ability to make people think and rethink strongly held principles is what separates a good storyteller from a professional author. This book, with its open structure that moves along at a good pace, does just that. Malcolm Clarke, Durham County Councillor
In this novella Rachael is grappling with such philosophical issues of purpose, relationships, afterlife, faith, religion. In fact, the meaning of life and death. She does this in a very creative way for her readership. Emma Truelove, Radio Royal UK
