I pray my words touch other people-men, women, Black, White, Latino, Asian, etc.-and that they can relate to each and every poem! This book took me two years to write. I'm glad it took so long so I could share every aspect of my growth. From me Sleeping with the Enemy to me acknowledging My Darkest Moment, I got more personal as I wrote. I've seen a lot and been through a lot; my journey's built a strong-minded person that's accountable, passionate, and wise! Every poem came with a different realization and feeling.
