A Night at the Playground

What a strange little boy is Amnon Ben Tamim, he always wants things when it's not the right time! Amnon wants things to work his way, but there are rules we all must obey! He doesn't understand why he can't stay in bed or start dinner with desert! As Night falls, he persuades his parents to go to the playground, where the grownups have fun and Amnon understands the reason for rules.

Jonathan writes amusingly and empathetically as always, Aviel is a great illustrator and their connection results in a wonderful book.

Jonathan Yavin, one of Israel's most prolific and original writers, tells an amusing and educating tale without a shred of scolding. Accompanied by Aviel Basil's energetic and humorous illustrations, this book is even more enjoyable.
