Nidus: A Dramatic Poem In Three Voices is a poetic masterpiece by Parkes Dow. It is a thought-provoking and emotionally charged work that explores the themes of love, loss, and redemption. The poem is divided into three voices, each representing a different perspective on the central narrative. The first voice is that of the protagonist, who is struggling to come to terms with the loss of his beloved. He is consumed by grief and despair, and his journey towards healing forms the backbone of the poem. The second voice is that of a wise old sage, who serves as a mentor to the protagonist. Through his words of wisdom and guidance, he helps the protagonist navigate the difficult terrain of grief and find his way back to the light. The third voice is that of the beloved herself, who speaks from beyond the grave. Her voice is haunting and ethereal, and her words serve as a reminder of the power of love and the enduring nature of the human spirit.Nidus is a deeply moving and powerful work of poetry that will resonate with readers on a profound level. It is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of love to transcend even the greatest of tragedies. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
