When a helpful robot makes writing too easy, Nick learns the most important lesson of all: his own voice matters most.
Nick loves stories-dragons, rockets, castles in the snow-but when it's time to write them down, the words just won't come. Then his big brother Jared introduces him to Chappy, an AI helper that can write anything in seconds. Problem solved, right?
Not quite.
When Nick lets Chappy write his sledding story, the words are perfect and polished-but they don't sound like Nick at all. His teacher notices. His classmates notice. And deep down, Nick knows something important is missing: him.
With his brother's help, Nick discovers three powerful Writing Questions that help him use Chappy as a helper instead of a replacement. He learns to add his real feelings (the scared, the mad, the proud), keep the moments only he could write, and stay in charge of his own story.
Perfect for children ages 5-10, this timely and heartwarming tale tackles one of today's most important questions: How do we use powerful tools like AI wisely while keeping our unique voices strong?
