Written to be checked. Every rule traces to a statute, a regulator, a federal agency or a published standard, with the date it was verified. Where the law varies - and for notice periods, records deadlines, reserves, fines and elections it varies enormously - the book shows several states' versions and tells you which question to take to your own documents. One fictional 84-home association runs through every chapter, so you see the arithmetic, not just the advice.
