A life of abuse and terror has pushed Tyler far beyond his limits. He's finally taken his first step toward freedom and ran away from the man he thought he loved. Starting over isn't easy though. Anthony, however, is tired of looking for love in all the wrong places. He'd tried the bar crawls and slogged through the dating pool. Every time it ended in heartbreak. All he wanted was somebody to love and maybe someone to help him grieve over the loss of his caring older brother. Instead, all he did was rebound. When he sees Tyler on the first day of the new semester, one broken soul spots another. He knows that Tyler needs somebody as well and wonders if maybe this time, Anthony has found the one. However, Tyler is more than just a pretty face. Fear and weariness keep him alert and on his toes, making a chance for them to fall in love more difficult than he'd expected.
