The war in The Holy Land is over, but for Robin of Locksley, the real battle is just beginning.

After years of fighting alongside King Richard the Lionheart, Robin returns to England expecting peace and a happy homecoming. Instead, he finds his world shattered-his father murdered under mysterious circumstances, his ancestral lands stolen by the cruel and power-hungry Guy of Gisbourne. Worse still, the king he served so loyally has been taken captive, and the ransom meant to free him is being hoarded by Prince John, who schemes to steal the crown for himself.
