In 1965 the Monroe Cheesemakers basketball team, under the guidance of Coach Lee Mitchell, completed an undefeated season, going 26-0 and winning the Wisconsin State High School Championship. This book celebrates the 50th year anniversary of that event with recaps of the games, photos, mementos, and comments and analysis by teammates, fans, and coaches. The book also includes a detailed history of basketball in Monroe going back to the early 1900's, and the many colorful players and coaches who have been involved in the game.
