Negro Masonry is a book written by William H. Upton that provides a critical examination of objections to the legitimacy of the Masons existing among the Negroes of America. The book explores the history and development of Masonry among the African American community, addressing common criticisms and misconceptions about the organization. Upton argues that the Masons have played an important role in the social and cultural development of African Americans, and that their presence in the community is both legitimate and valuable. The book provides a detailed analysis of the Masonic tradition, including its rituals, symbols, and practices, and offers insights into the ways in which Masonry has influenced African American culture and identity. Overall, Negro Masonry is a thought-provoking and informative work that sheds light on an important aspect of African American history and culture. This Is A New Release Of The Original 1898 Edition. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
