While we await the disappearance of this dreaded pandemic, it is so refreshing to hang out with friends and catch up on the latest news as we sip a cup of tea and pray for an end to the COVID-19 virus. It is even more meaningful when you know that the tea you are sipping is likely to ward off the virus if you should be exposed to it. However, due to the need for social distancing and wearing a mask, many are hesitant to venture outside, even if it's just to go next door to visit a neighbor. I took the leap of faith and visited my long time friend, Brenda and her mom, who lives thirteen (13) miles away. I took the chance because I know exactly what to do to avoid getting infected and, even if I was exposed, I know how to start treating myself effectively. Of course, I shared my knowledge with my friends with the hope that each one will teach one.
