The book titled National Petroleum Association, 1902-1927 is a comprehensive historical account of the National Petroleum Association (NPA) and its activities during the first quarter of the twentieth century. The NPA was a leading organization in the American petroleum industry, representing the interests of oil producers, refiners, and marketers across the country. The book covers the formation of the NPA in 1902, its early years and growth, and its role in shaping the development of the petroleum industry during the period. It also provides an in-depth analysis of the NPA's policies, programs, and initiatives, including its efforts to promote the use of petroleum products, improve safety standards, and protect the industry from government regulation. The author has drawn on a wide range of primary sources, including NPA archives, contemporary newspapers, and government records, to provide a detailed and engaging account of the NPA's history. The book is well-researched and well-written, making it an essential resource for anyone interested in the history of the American petroleum industry, or the role of trade associations in shaping economic policy. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
